Signing in print
Print a copy of the Status Determination Statement.
You must sign the cover letter on the line over your name and date the copy with the date of signature.
You must sign the Status Determination Statement on the line over your name and date the copy with the date on which the status determination was carried out.
A copy of the Status Determination Statement must be sent to the parties the client (ie you) has contracted with. This will always be the worker and either:
the personals services company through which the worker provides the services (where the client and worker contract directly through this company), or
the agency (where the worker supplies their services through their personals services company and via an agency), or
the fee-payer (where the worker is paid by someone other than the client)
Each party should keep a copy of the signed Status Determination Statement.
You (ie the client) should safely store the original Status Determination Statement, along with the completed CEST report, for future audit purposes.
A copy of the Status Determination Statement will also be stored automatically in your Rocket Lawyer account ‘Dashboard’.
