The parties must both sign the Letter of Confidentiality. This can be done online or in print.
Signing online
You can sign online using RocketSign.
Signing in print
Print two copies of the Letter of Confidentiality.
Sign both copies and send them to the recipient.
Ask the recipient to counter-sign, print their name and date both copies in the spaces provided at the bottom of the Letter and return one copy to you. The recipient will keep the second copy for their records.
The Letter of Confidentiality becomes legally effective when the recipient counter-signs and dates it.
Each party should keep their own signed original of the Letter of Confidentiality.
A copy of the Letter will be stored automatically in your Rocket Lawyer account ‘Dashboard’.
