Childcare contract checklist
Make it Legal™ Checklist
Here are a few important steps to take to finish your document
The childcare provider and all parent(s) and/or guardian(s) must sign the Contract. If the childcare provider is a company or a partnership, its representative (ie signatory) must sign.
The date of the Contract is the date on which the parties sign, if that is the same day. If they sign on different days, it is the day on which the last person signs. You can set a separate date on which the childcare services will start when you make your Contract.
You can sign your Childcare Contract by either:
-
signing online using RocketSign, or
-
signing in print
-
print a copy for all parties. If the child has more than one parent or guardian, print a copy for each of them
-
all parties should sign and date both copies by hand. They can do this at different times, for example, if the childcare provider sends the parent(s) and/or guardian(s) multiple signed copies and asks them to sign them all, keep one each, and return one
-
All parties should keep their own original signed Contract.
A copy of your Childcare Contract will also be stored automatically in your Rocket Lawyer account ‘Dashboard’.
